Mount Palomar 2008 Castelletto Sangiovese
In Stock
We were the pioneers in introducing Sangiovese to the Temecula Valley. Our oldest vineyard blocks date back over 25 years and were the first Sangiovese vines planted here. Made in more of the old world style, reminiscent of Chianti, this wine has black cherry and chocolate aromas along with a hint of oak and clove, with a full mouth feel, moderate tannins and a round, smooth, long finish. A great match with red sauce pastas, this wine also pairs very well with red meats, sausages and pizza.
