40th Anniversary Grape Stomp

Participants must be 21 to enter.

Clean your feet, dig out your best grape stomping costume and bring your friends to Mount Palomar Winery for a festival in honor of our grape harvest. Enjoy a glass of wine, lunch, and live music while competing to fill a gallon jug with freshly stomped juice!

The Grape Stomping Competition begins at 12pm with heats scheduled every half hour through 3 p.m. 

10 teams of two (a stomper and a mucker) compete in each heat.
Groups of 20 may schedule an entire heat if space is available and receive a 10% discount!

The winning team in each heat receives two bottles of wine and an opportunity to participate in the "Stomp Off" at 3:30 p.m.

The 1st place team in the Stomp Off receives a $100 Mount Palomar Gift Certificate and the 2nd place team wins a $50 Mount Palomar Gift Certificate.

Prizes will also be awarded for 'Best Costume" of the day and "Best Team Name" of the day.

All participants take home a commemorative t-shirt designed by a Mount Palomar employee.

Food and beverages will be available for spectators to purchase.

Entertainment provided by Ricky B & the Stingers.
