3rd Annual Wine Club Blending Competition

Enjoy wine, appetizers and the camaraderie of fellow Wine Club members as winemaker, Craig Boyd, guides you through the process of creating a new blend of red wine. 

Ten teams with eight members each will be given a selection of barrel samples, lots of glasses, paper, pencils and measuring devices.  Your task is to create a new blend of wine.  The blend judged to be the best will be bottled and distributed to the Wine Club at a later date.  The winning team will also help name the wine and each member will take home a case when it is bottled.  The team that creates a blend closest to Craig's own blend and the team with the "second best" wine name will also win a prize.


The 2008 and 2009 winning blends, Übervin and Blend 007, are still available for tasting at the members bar.


This event is limited to Wine Club Members and a spouse/significant other or guest (two people per membership).  Build your own team with other members or we will place you on a team.  Reservations are required by February 1st. Reservations are filling up fast so don't wait until the last minute to call!
