Mount Palomar Winery to Host 4th Annual Oktoberfest


Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula will host a weekend of authentic German music, food, beer and wine on Thursday, October 9th & Friday, October 10th

 

TEMECULA, California – September 1, 2010 -- Mount Palomar Winery will host its 4th Annual Oktoberfest 12th from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

 

Break out your lederhosen or dirndl, bring your German beer stein and join us for a festive weekend of food, fun and live Oom Pah Pah music on our patio.  German entertainers Karl and Fritz (in their lederhosen) will provide the music and we’ll provide the food and fun. We’ll be serving homemade German bratwurst and potato salad, apple and cherry strudel, hot pretzels, Mount Palomar Riesling wine, and Beck’s Oktoberfest beer on tap. Bring your German Stein and your first glass of beer is free!

 

There will be dance contests, daily prizes for Mr. and Mrs. Oktoberfest (Best Costumes), Best Beer Stein and more.

 

 

Homemade German Bratwurst on a fresh roll served with German potato salad: $8.50

Hot dog, chips and cookie: $4.00

Hot Pretzels: $1.50

Apple and Cherry Strudel: $3.00

Beck’s Oktoberfest beer on tap:  $5.00 glass
